Promised Land

Over five thousand years ago, Moses said to the children of Israel, "Pick up your shovels, mount your asses and camels, and I will lead you to the Promised Land."

Nearly 75 years ago, when FDR introduced Welfare, he said, "Lay down your shovels, sit on your asses, and light up a Camel, this is the Promised Land."

Today, the government has stolen your shovel, taxed your asses, raised the price of Camels, and mortgaged the Promised Land!

Washington Fob

Washington D.C. with its politicians so greedy and lobbyists eager to rob

Washington Fob

Democrats and Republicans deceitful to satisfy the masses
Give excuses only to make themselves asses

Washington Fob

News media help in their game of deceit
Putting the working poor and middle classes more in defeat

Washington Fob

Washington and Wall Street together fool the masses
While they and the rich expand their bank statement dashes

Washington Fob

Liberals and conservatives alike feed at the public trough
While watching each other and scoff

Washington Fob

Master and slave eventual disaster now on pace even more faster

On the backs of the people, politicians and the rich continue their bitch
Deceive and adore their game as the people get more poor

Washington Fob

Ramen Noodles Taste Good

Did as expected
Chose a goal and played my role

Protection expected but neglected
Thousands affected

Filled with light, prosperity endless and danger out of sight
Was doin' well until the economy fell

Ramen noodles taste good

Labored many hours a day thankful that the day's work was done
Seems it didn't matter

Now seeking shelter from the sun
Friends and family scatter as hopes and dreams shatter

Dark shrouded words so inclined dredge through the darkness of my mind

Ramen noodles taste good

Want to turn and run
Sadness and rage simplifies the sage

Another day, oh how could I hide from what has been done

Out of work, foreclosures
No improvement in sight

Democrat and Republican alike nothing solved worsening the people's plight

Ramen noodles taste good

Life's temporal lease perhaps soon to
vacate early His release
Keep the wolves at bay

Wall Street and Washington continue to fleece
Praying for a better day

Ramen noodles taste good
Ramen noodles taste good
