Beauty

Beauty cries alone in a room filled with memories
Each passing day Beauty wonders
Wonders whether she should have changed her journeys

The future changes
The past is done

Beauty has pain
Her heart aches

Her loves,
the possibilities, the triumphs
The word defeat isn't in her vocabulary

Beauty cries alone in a room filled
with memories

Despite being weary,
she is a survivor,
has perseverance

Beauty thinks about life
The mistakes that bring on life's somber rain

Born out of the bull-thistle pastoral rolling hills of flowing rivers
Proud and strong
She goes forward, playing the hand given her

Beauty has pain
But Beauty is strong
She is resilient

Family and friend ties
Wise, filled with beauty

She is....beauty

You May Kiss The Bride

A sign of affection, a token of bonding
with that wedding day kiss

A symbol of faith, respect and love for each other so astonishing
The swapping of souls that two experience upon marriage

An end to the wait filled with thoughts of disparage
One solemn moment to all those witnessing that special day

Truly alive again from the moment I knew you were here to stay
We have become partners

I have become yours
You have become mine

Two filled with sorrow, now have bright tomorrows
Life's time no longer filled with sadness

We two now hand in hand
Word and meaning united

Life's love passion ignited
Days and nights honey-sweet

My heart your shelter, my arms your home
Sweet taste of love's wine

I cannot promise you a complete life of sunshine
I cannot promise riches and gold

But I can promise all my heart's love and devotion
Compassion and safe emotion
Love ever knowing

A smile to chase away tears of sorrow
A love that is true and ever growing

A hand to hold in yours through each tomorrow
On that special day when it is said, "You may kiss the bride."

She Cries

Filled with sadness and pain
She cries as he boards the train for that long goodbye

Standing on the platform
She watches with sadness in her eyes as he looks her way through the train's window

She cries

Leaving the salty sea air of that coastal town on that eastbound train, he thinks of their wonderful life together

His hand pressed against the window
Their eyes deeply locked

She cries

They talk on the phone awaiting the train's departure, drying their eyes and confessing their love for one another
as they have done many times before

She anxiously waits his return, each day more painful; a pain that never hides

She cries

All of You

In this world full of hurt and pain, you help me through the rain

Your gentle grace and charm enthralls me
A sunny day, a rainy day, it matters not to me as long as I can see your lovely face and walk and talk with thee

The sound of your voice is music to my ear
Soft, sweet, and clear

Your love gentle and sweet makes life complete

The warmth of your smile and laughter
I thirst for your tenderness and beautiful charm

The caress of your hand sends shivers down my spine
Each day, I'm thankful that your mine

I want to spend an eternity in your arms
I'm graced by your beauty and your charms

My darling, I love....all of you

With You

With you, I feel like I've never felt before
You've touched me deep inside
You've unlocked and opened the door

I was in darkness waiting for the light
Now, you've come my way
My days are no longer dark as night

Even if this doesn't last
I’m glad I’ve had this chance
How great you truly are
Even if just for a glance

We never know what will come of this
With you, I feel so comfortable
Our love's wonderful bliss

Like nothing can go wrong
I get this warm feeling deep inside
You sing to me like a song

You've removed my wall
With you, my world is whole
With you, love lives in my soul
With you, I now have it all

Red Rose

My Love's like a red rose that is
newly sprung in June

Like a melody that is sweetly
played in tune

My Love's like a rose's sunshine,
so full of energy and light

I was but a mere vessel, tossing about helplessly in a sea of loneliness until I found you, my lovely red rose, shining bright

My spirits are lifted just by the sound of your voice and that look in your eyes

You make my life worth living, my red rose surprise

I will love thee, my red rose, through the seasons, and through times of trouble, for your love gives my life reason

I will love thee, my red rose, for as long as the
sands of life shall run

I will give you all the love I have to give, and anything else for the chance to touch your heart

For because of you, my life is now fun

I pray our love till death do us part, and that to each other we’ll be true and never feel blue

My lovely red rose, you make my spirits fly

Without you, just like a rose, I would wither and die
Not all at once, but little by little, petal by petal

With our deep love felt by so few,
my red rose, the love of my life, I love you

Here To Stay

Rest your head and close your eyes
Everything will be okay I say as I whisper in her ear
I love you, I'm here to stay

Turn down the lights and come close
With only the beating of our hearts felt as we lay, I compose for thee

The moonlit night shining through the bedroom window displaying all her beauty

Relax your body
while I caress your face and hair

Let me help take all of life's worries away
Our love like no other can compare
I dwell as I whisper in her ear,
I love you, I'm here to stay

Life's Pain

She was full of joy
Full of life

Until she knew the real life

She walked and walked on the path
of life with her loved ones on both sides

But one day, while she walked,
she stepped on the thorns

Then she came to know life's pain and that life can sometimes be like a painful thorn
